The Ashram boutique sells a range of spiritual books, cassettes and cds, clothing for yoga classes, mats and meditation cushions and other yoga-related items.

The wood-fired sauna is open daily in the summer and on weekends in the winter. A certified Thai massage practitioner is available throughout the year (insurance receipts on request). In addition deep muscle massage and ayurvedic massage are available during the summer months.

Our outdoor swimming pool is open in July and August.

Swami Vishnu-devananda led many peace missions, in a two-seater Apache aircraft, painted by Peter Max, the artist famed for the graphics in the film the Yellow Submarine. Swamiji’s missions included flying over war zones such as Palestine during the Intifada, the Suez Canal when Egypt and Israel were at war, and the Berlin Wall during the Cold War. His flights led to world-wide publicity and he became known as the ‘Flying Swami’. The plane is housed in a museum at the Ashram.

The Krishna Temple, located in the Ashram grounds, is open all year round for morning and evening satsang (silent meditation, chanting and a discourse). See daily schedule for satsang times.

Situated on a hill overlooking the Ashram, the Temple is open from the middle of April to November. Daily pujas and spiritual ceremonies are open to all.
