RESIDENT AYURVEDIC PHYSICIAN: DR SONAL BHATT

Dr. Sonal Bhatt M.D. (Ayurveda), B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), is a highly qualified ayurvedic physician and Panchkarma specialist from one of the leading ayurvedic universities in India, Jamnagar Ayurvedic University. She is also a Registered Holistic Nutritional Consultant from CSNN Toronto.

Dr. Bhatt has been practising as an Ayurvedic consultant, Panchkarma specialist, teacher and researcher in India, Canada and North America for over 20 years. She has been invited to many famous institutions as an expert on subjects including Ayurvedic nutrition, Panchkarma therapy, diabetes, and stress management. She is a life member of the All-India Ayurvedic Congress and Gujarat Ayurvedic Congress, and is a regular invitee as ayurvedic doctor on All-India Radio.  She is currently practising and teaching in Ayurveda and offering holistic health services in Toronto, and has her own Ayurvedic Herbal Pharmacy offering pure and effective herbal medicines for a variety of diseases.

 
Program overview

•    Ayurvedic consultation with Dr Sonal Bhatt (one and half hours) who will design an Ayurvedic
     healing treatments package for the five days. (Every day for two hours based on individual
     need.)
•    Consultation includes in depth suggestions about diet, life style, herbs, home remedies, yoga
     and breathing exercises to promote health and vitality.
•    Introductory  Ayurvedic workshop
•    One yoga and pranayama session per day to develop positive thinking and inner peace
•    Vegetarian meals to give life a boost
•    Daily visit to the Ayurvedic physician (optional)
 

Daily schedule

5.30am       Wake up
6am-8am     Satsang (meditation, yoga, and talk on yoga philosophy)
8am            Yoga and pranayama class
10am           Brunch
11am           Karma yoga (one hour of selfless service, compulsory)
12-4.00pm    Afternoon programme
4-6pm         Yoga and pranayama class
6pm            Dinner
8pm            Satsang with cultural programme
10pm          Lights out


6am-8.00, 8.00-10:00, 12.00-2.00, 2.00-4.00: Individual Ayurvedic Treatment package slots       
Cost:  $675.00, plus 5 nights' accommodation              
Deposit: $ 150.00

The course will start at 7.30 pm on August 19 and will finish at 4pm on August 24.

Individual treatments allotted at the following hours 6-8am, 8-10am, 12-2pm, 2-4pm
